Good day Crewmembers and welcome to “Opening Night: Moon Knight.”

The purpose of the “Opening Night” feature is to give newcomers the foundations and basic information to be able to enjoy the program more fully. We work to avoid probable spoilers and speculation to allow everyone to enjoy “THOSE” moments together. We take our focus from the trailers and on-the-record news confirmed by the cast and crew.
Whether or not you have seen a MARVEL movie, I’m sure you’re well aware of the MARVEL Cinematic Universe and how vast it’s become since “Iron Man” debuted back in 2008. Maybe that’s why you haven’t traveled into the MCU yet, it’s become a bit overwhelming even for those of us that have been there since the beginning. Luckily “MOON KNIGHT” seems like it will stand more on its own than some of the other recent MCU offerings.
Will there be connective tissue to other MCU events? Most likely. Do they appear to be required knowledge to understand the story? Not so far. It also appears that Moon Knight’s origin will be covered in this season as well. So why do you need us? YOU DON’T!! If you’re interested in jumping into the MCU, looking for a new Disney+ show to watch, appreciate the acting skills of Oscar Isaac and/or Ethan Hawke, or find Egyptian mythology fun; “Moon Knight” is scheduled to stream Episode 1 on March 30th.
At the moment, we plan on updating a “Second Run” feature on Moon Knight as the episodes stream in order to capture anything that may be good to know for new MCU Travelers. Keep your eyes open for those!
Until then, enjoy the show!
