Good evening CrewMembers! Welcome to our ongoing (at least until the last episode) "Second Run: Moon Knight" feature. We'll edit this page after we watch each episode, so you can keep checking one central location instead of multiple posts.

As a reminder, this feature goes further in-depth than our "Opening Night" posts to offer a deeper foundation for viewing. As such, spoilers are generally inherent so please bear that in mind.
EPISODE I: "The Goldfish Problem"
The "origin" story begins. It's more of like the story of "discovery" begins, because Moon Knight already exists, we're just finding out along with main character Steven Grant about his existence. There were no specific MCU connections or even Easter Eggs that we noticed, so no prior knowledge is required! There are some nods to the comic books, but these will probably be followed up in-story with future episodes so we aren't going to delve into those yet.
Your needs from the MCU:
Required Pre-viewing: None Connective Easter Eggs: None
EPISODE II: "Summon the Suit"
Another episode that stands very much on its own as Steven discovers more about his other personality. No direct references to the greater MCU yet, but there was at least one bit of evidence to prove Moon Knight's MCU existence and general timeline. There is a fight scene that ends up near a bus. On the bus is an advertisement for the "GRC" or "Global Reparations Council." This International Government council appeared in "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and was the impetus behind its story line. At this point, if you don't know about the GRC your understanding of Moon Knight isn't hurt. However, if you would like to know more F&WS is where to go!
Your needs from the MCU:
Required Pre-viewing: None
Connective Easter Eggs: Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Episode III: "The Friendly Type"
Just another little tidbit to connect to the overall MCU in this one by way of Madripoor. This fictional MARVEL city was an important stop along the way for Falcon and Bucky in their Disney+ show. Still just a name drop at this point, but it seems signs might be pointing to a bigger connection.
Your needs from the MCU:
Required Pre-viewing: None
Connective Easter Eggs: Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Episode IV: "The Tomb"
Well that got a bit "Cuckoo"! A lot going on in this episode, but still no direct connections to the larger MCU and no little "name drops" either this week.
Your needs from the MCU:
Required Pre-viewing: None Connective Easter Eggs: None
How can there be only 2 episodes left?!
EPISODE V: "Asylum"
It's going to be very interesting to see how they wrap everything up next episode! This week we go back to MCU Name Drop Easter Eggs, without making anything specifically required pre-viewing.
When speaking with Taweret, Marc uses the adjective "the" to describe the afterlife. She corrects him and says "an" afterlife and let's him know there are different versions. She then offers that the Ancestral Plane is just gorgeous. For more info on that, check out Black Panther.
Your needs from the MCU: Required Pre-viewing: None Connective Easter Eggs: Black Panther
Season Finale is next!
EPISODE VI: "Gods and Monsters"
At one point, this episode was labeled as a series finale. Despite no concrete plans for the follow-up, MARVEL has changed the label to season finale. One thing that didn't change though were overt MCU connections. This week went back to keeping all the focus on building the Moon Knight mythos without even name dropping the overall family.
Your needs from the MCU: Required Pre-viewing: None Connective Easter Eggs: None
Where would you like to see Moon Knight pop up next, or how would you like to see further adventures handled?
~Until then, enjoy the show!
